There are thousands of children living on US Military Bases throughout the world.  Children who see the sacrifices their parents make, to serve our country.  Children who also make sacrifices of their own.

•Over 500,000 youth under the age of 18 have one or more parents on active-duty in the military, with nearly 75% residing on US military bases around the world.

•Over 65% of these young people's families are classified in the lower-economic bracket, thus qualifying for the Federal "Free or Reduced-Lunch" program.

•Many have relocated as many as five times, over the course of their childhood.

•According to a recent study by the Journal of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, children who have a parent deployed are 2 1/2 times more likely to have mental health or behavioral issues than American kids in general.
